Contents of the Document
"By now you know, I have opted for the 'short route' home," the document declares. "All the best! We possessed one thing … our love & caring for young ladies and the aspiration they reach their ultimate capabilities."
The message further states: "The commander-in-chief also shares our love of adolescent females. When a attractive young woman walked by he enjoyed to 'grab snatch', whereas we ended up taking meals in the cafeterias of the system."
The note is concluded: "The world is not fair. Yours, J. Epstein."
Context and Chronology
The document is postmarked 13 August 2019, significantly three days after Epstein's death in prison in what was declared a act of taking his own life. It was found by officials in the prison postal area some time afterward after it was bounced back from a penitentiary in Arizona and marked "addressee not here".
"The evidence suggested he mailed it out and it was returned back to him," an agent remarked in an email contained within the records.
Official Response
In a release regarding the publication of these papers, the DOJ stated that a portion of the documents feature "false and exaggerated assertions" submitted against President Trump. The department labeled the claims as "unfounded and untrue," adding they were made public in the interest of accountability.
