An extensive extended cruise through the Land Down Under was terminated days after the fatal incident of an senior woman who was abandoned by the vessel on a isolated coastal location.

The passenger had been trekking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the cruise ship, but separated from the group for a rest. The liner departed without her and returned later that day after the personnel realised the passenger was missing.

An extensive rescue mission located her body the following day.
